DONATIONS LAW N°19,885
The Ministry manages Law No. 19,885, which “regulates the proper use of donations from legal entities that give rise to tax benefits and extends them to other social and public purposes” (Social Donations Law).
This Law grants tax benefits to companies or individuals that donate money to finance projects aimed at people in poverty and/or disabilities, as well as alcohol and/or drug prevention and rehabilitation.
The Law regulates the donations received by the Project Bank initiatives, presented by institutions belonging to the Registry of Donees. In addition, it regulates the operation of the Mixed Social Support Fund that allocates resources via public tender to projects executed or to be executed.
